Kids Safety – Protecting our Precious

Our kids safety is our prime concern.

From the moment our baby is conceived, we are concerned about his safety. Starting with what an expectant mom should or should not eat to yelling at them to finish their green leafys, our aim is to keep them healthy.

We want to protect them from diseases, from unexpected boo-boos, from heart-aches. Manufacturers of kids furniture and furnishings are closely observed to ensure they follow all safety guidelines.

While we do all we can to protect our children within the house, what about the big, wide world? Once your child starts school, he is heading towards increasing hours away from your eagle eyes. Much as we would wish it otherwise, the world is not always a nice and friendly place to be in.

"My three year old boy was sexually molested by a child care provider. Because of the Lil' Iguana program, he was brave enough to come forward even after being threatened." - Anonymous

This is a frightening but all too real possibility for every innocent child and protective parent. Our kids safety cannot be obsessed about enough.

This is where Li'l Iguana Children's Safety Foundation steps in. Their mission statement says it all:
"To save children from child predators and serious accidental injuries in a non-threatening, kid-friendly way."

HELP Save our children from Child molesters, predators and abuse

How?

Since parents cannot always be around, the children need to be able to protect themselves. LICSF teaches children important safety measures. They focus on kids between 2 to 8 years of age. The children learn about child predator safety alongside everyday safety topics.

They have a number of educational products. Buy them now and take a step in the right direction.

There are many more to choose from. If you are a teacher or caregiver, make the Teacher's /Caregiver's Kit a compulsory part of your curriculum.

Are you itching to do more?

Our children are our most precious resource. Let us join hands and pledge today…to do more and increase awareness about the Li'l Iguana Children's Safety Foundation in our local communities.

It's taken them 13 years to reach 3 million children and families. As we all know, that is just a trickle. We need a tsunami; a big wave of consciousness to help keep our kids safe.
