Tuti and Keni's Dinosaur Room

I have always believed a kids room must be a magic place where kids not only play, but dream and enjoy all the details that encourage them to just be "kids", you know, have fun, be a little naughty... For me, this would be translated into bright colors that bring laughter and happiness to the room.
With white as a base, always, so we dont saturate the room.
I always buy at Ikea, just because it's cheap, has nice things and because we dont have many other options where we live ; ) But that doesn't mean we cant make it "our own" with personal and unique details.
For example there's the wall. I painted my kids favourite characters at the moment: dinosaurs!! They are from one of their favourite books.
I also painted some fantasy canvases and to make sure they also felt that what they painted is very special, I bought small canvases and they painted them with acrylic's and I hung them on the walls. They loved it!
Also with felt I made a garland for each with their names.Very easy to sew and the result it's great!
For storage, color buckets! its a kids room,so we needed something that was always handy and super easy to clean up the toys and the thousands of legos... ; )
